Tower crane TDK-10.215 NTK (an analogue of the tower crane Liebherr) is designed to mechanize the construction process of high-rise residential, civil and industrial buildings. It has a maximum lifting capacity of up to 10 tonnes and is an analogue of the tower crane Liebherr.

The TDK-10.215 NTK is a supported static electric flat-top crane used in construction. It has a fixed tower and a rotary jib with a load trolley equipped with a hook. The freestanding crane has a lifting height of up to 75 meters. When the maximum freestanding height of the crane has to be exceeded, the crane is tied to the building.   The crane is assembled section by section by utilizing hydraulic climbing equipment. 

With the launch of mass production of flat-top cranes GIRAFFE has taken a step in a novel direction.  This type of construction equipment draws on modern technology and expertise of the company’s foreign counterparts as well as on the extensive experience that it garnered over 300-years in the crane manufacturing business. The TDK-10.215 NTK is developed with the direct participation of leading European design bureau and European Certification Organization for Security and Reliability of designed constructions and is an analogue of the tower crane Liebherr. The crane was designed the latest technologies used by leaders in the industry of crane manufacturing.

NTK control and safety system

  1. The tower crane TDK-10.215 NTK is equipped with a system of frequency converters with a program task from the controler of the last generation and special version. It allows increasing significantly the maximum speeds of load lifting, jib slewing and movement. This characteristic of a control system frequency controlled by TDK-10.215 NTK significantly increases the speed and accuracy of positioning of loads that respectively increases speed of construction.

  2. The new safety system manufactured in Germany is integrated in the frequency converter and complies with all safety regulations implemented in the Russian Federation. In their characteristics and reliability it is not inferior to analogues produced by other global manufacturers. The device can be optional equipped with anti-collision system.

  3. The patented special logics of operation of the slewing mechanism lets to increase significantly controllability and accurate positioning of the crane jib at small movements, in any wind.

    The increased dynamics of braking at high speeds of turn at preservation of controllability of the crane. The unique mode of the mechanism of turn — imitation "braking by antiinclusion".

  4. Use of specific electric motors with the integrated electromagnetic brakes manufactured by Leroy Somer (France), or by Besozzi (Italy), and also planetary reducers manufactured by Zollern (Germany), allows to realize in the best way high quality of our control system of the frequency drive.

  5. The patented software developed by the European engineers allowed to introduce a complex system of self-diagnostics of the crane that allows to define malfunction in the shortest possible time. The controller of the crane is connected on the GPRS Internet with the service center and gives the chance of monitoring of work.


The monocabin lets to use room climate more efficiently and provides easy access to electric circuits and electronics.


The operator’s cabin is equipped with a size-conscious seat manufactured by Spohn+Bukhardt with a joystick control lever and a display monitor that shows all the working parameters of the crane.

      The crane interface and technical documentation are fully translated into Russian.

The crane is transported stowed on dollies attached to the rear of the truck tractor to form a tandem axle. Crane counterweights are removed prior to the transportation. Stowed dimensions of the crane comply with the clearance limit and no special permission is required for crane transportation on general-purpose roads.


The design of the crane ensures quick and easy assembly. The jib can be assembled on the ground and mounted onto the tower in one piece, alternatively, it can be assembled section by section atop the fixed tower. The latter method is also used to enhance jib length. The tower is assembled by a mobile crane or a hydraulic climbing frame. Once a climb has been completed, the climbing frame can be removed for use on other cranes. The tower base is bolted to a solid footing with anchor bolts. Alternatively, the crane is mounted on a cross frame base with ballast weights.

The crane uses two-sheave and four-sheave pulleys and automatically switches between them. Tower sections are connected with bolts. Tower sections are 4.8m and 12 m long of 2.18 x 2.18 cross-section.
