The delegation visited the main workshops, observed the production of tower cranes and appreciated the own unique development – SUBK cabin for the tower crane with self-developed control and safety system. While on the working visit the GIRAFFE managers presented the plant’s results achieved in the last half of the year to the acting governor. While the dynamics of the plant’s financial results are positive, but they could be even better. The group of companies has all prerequisites for it – highly qualified specialists, modern equipment, unique competences and experience.

The acting governor advised to pay more attention to gas and oil industry, especially to drilling ring market, due to difficult situation on the construction market and shortfall of effectual demand. “We [regional government] will prepare the program to support the plant, I personally will revert to the Ministry of energy of Russian Federation with a request to include the plant into the import substitution program. We must strive to provide the domestic market with own products,” added Aleksey Teksler.

Indeed, GIRAFFE has been working on it for many years and has several achievements – the company provided the construction metal structures for oil and gas industry, drilling rings.

We hope that support of the regional government will allow the plant not only to increase the number of orders, but also to make a breakthrough in the import substitution to provide the Russian construction sites with GIRAFFE equipment, as the group of companies has already made for Kursk NPP-2.

We greatly appreciate the Regional Government for its attention to future of the plant and Russian crane building industry.
